I was once darkened by this undeniable fact:
"My life is full of thorns
Which grew from my transgressions"
I felt lost and wasted
Driven away from You
Another truth kept me away:
There's nothing I could do
I was living my life alone
Each day feeling helpless and guilty
It seemed like it had no end
Until one astounding day...
By Your grace, You've sent someone
To open up my hardly closed eyes
To heal my bleeding heart
And pull me up to rise
I am now living by this undeniable fact:
"You had sacrificed Your Beloved
To clear all the darkness in me"
Through His blood and by trusting Him
You've granted me eternal life
My soul was cleansed from within
You've won over the sorrowful strife
Welcomed am I into Your arms
Even I'm not worthy in all my ways
How great is love that saves
Oh 'twas amazing grace!
So from that day on and 'til the stars shall fall
Here I will extol You and to the heavens above
Never will I cease to proclaim Your words
For everything You do is all for love
