Silence for the tale

by Marcus blake   Mar 10, 2011

I'm perplexed
You knew how far this life could stretch
So why did you let me...
Dreams are predated disasters
Nightmares to come, tragedy's in the making
Yet, you could see beyond them
How is that...
Tiny fragments of your words are embedded in my head
So my mind became forever familiar with you
As if my heart demanded anything more
Separated souls share a feeble tale
A heartfelt good-bye
Shedding no tears not even a kiss
For silence took all that from them
Your voice will be forever within me
Cause I know I shall never hear it again
Like a beautiful sun setting
But you shall never rise again
Yet I remain...
