I love how you can take different goddess and use your poetic abilities to write poems such as this one. I bet Greek Mythology is actually quite interesting if one takes the time to study it like you have. You're one of the only poets on this site that I see do this with their poetry. After reading up on Selene and discovering she's the goddess of the moon, I see now why you speak of the sky and stars. You have quite the imagination, only thing I may have liked to see more of is a better image of what she looked like. I read that she was depicted as a beautiful woman with a pale face and long black hair riding a silver chariot pulled by a pair of horses or dragons.. hmm perhaps I'll take this idea and write a poem with it. Not sure, but either way, I guess it would have been a great addition to have the image of what she looked like as well, but the poem is strong as is and had that old mythology feeling to it.
