Bound By Nature's Sigh

by Poet on the Piano   Mar 24, 2011

We are both a distant flurry away
Enfolding solitude as not to sway
From the travelling of midnight's smooth rail
A swan's eloquence, a curious sail.

Air whirls about our misplaced, dusky eye
Where rekindled breath sculpts a longer tie
Recovered only by the free sun line
Asking of us to fly in heaven's twine.

I must say I liked the simple rhyme, it was not overdone at all. I do sort of agree with Britt, you could add more, it felt short, but what you have is excellent so far. I think nature really does bring souls together, I believe that was the intent of your poem. Thus why nature and love go so well together in poetry. Lovely so far, hope you decide to add a little more!
