I must say I liked the simple rhyme, it was not overdone at all. I do sort of agree with Britt, you could add more, it felt short, but what you have is excellent so far. I think nature really does bring souls together, I believe that was the intent of your poem. Thus why nature and love go so well together in poetry. Lovely so far, hope you decide to add a little more!
