Angel Queen!

by Jack Nightengale   Mar 26, 2011

There's a castle high above the clouds,
A castle that makes all the god proud.
In it sit a King without a crown,
Who has the saddest of frowns.
Left in the castle all alone,
with no one else sit beside his throne.

One day happened the most beautiful of scenes,
The most beautiful of Angel flew in and he asked her to be his queen.
To his surprise she accepted his hand,
He is now King over the entire land.
No god could ever manage to make him frown,
Thanks to his Queen nothing could ever bring him down!

Dedicated to the one I love!

This is short but sweet. It has good word choice for the poem itself. A great flow. You begin very plain and end quite plain, yet it is a strong end. The simplicity makes this poem spot on. Great job!
