Holy crap yaki...in two stanzas you have gicen two amazing analogies! I don't think you needed to say anything else really to get your point across! What a powerful statement of how one can love so deeply just to be "burned" by the other.

I just loved this Yaki...for some reason you by far really move me with your poetry :)

You had some lovely images here, you expressed yourself beautifully. I loved the metaphors, they were perfect! The title really reflects your emotion, how unbelievable it is how you can be so sweet and love someone yet they can burn you as easily as you can love them. Definitely a wonderful poem! You expressed so much in only a few words, great talent :)

Wow Yaki! This was short but filled with so much emotion! I think we all can relate to a moment in our lives where we gave our all to someone and it wasn't returned the way we wanted it to be. I think the title is too simple for such a profound poem. Maybe something with a little more meaning? I'll trying to think of something and let you know. Great job!

I adored this poem. Again such beauty written in elegance upon the page. I found the juxtaposition between the first and second stanza to be lovely.

The metaphor with burning was clever, I believe we have all felt that 'burn' before from a lover. It was an interesting choice of symbolism.

I've read this poem about 5 times now and it still takes my breath away each time. A lovely piece.
