I didn't think it would hurt this bad,
not having you by my side.
I told myself this was the right path,
but I guess I lied.

It hurts to see another girl in your arms,
those same arms I once adored.
To see that warmth of love you freely give her,
as I past my days along.

Mourning of that love that once burned strong.
So fierce that I thought it could never be broken,
but now I am trying to put back the pieces,
of a heart that is no longer working.

No matter where life takes me, I will always be incomplete.
You stole my heart without warning,
and kept a piece of it.
