Entwine mine eyes and mind

Yes, at night I cannot see.

How is it that I am blinded, daytime?

Can it really be,

I thought I wasn't a fool.

My eyes and my mind

must not think equally.

Have my thoughts wandered to far

for me to not see what I should?

How can this be,

that I never foresee..

what I should have known

was going to occur?

I shall no longer bow my head in blindness.

For, light is what I must see.

Then my eyes and my mind can entwine

to foresee and protect me.

I pray there are no storms,

clouds.. they must fly away.

Sunlight, please bring me joy

and lighten my way.
