My Solitude

by Marcus blake   Apr 1, 2011

The clock never stooped ticking as did my pain
As for that night it was history, a tale between two lovers
She left me as did I leave her...
So the streets became my company
As I walked into the night's abyss
The nightmares and terrors of the night could not compare
To losing her...
I have no need of abstract angels and demons to comfort me
For there love is a love I've never known
Blood can cast away sorrow but the pain always remains
Would the sky bear witness to my true being?
Could this knife change anything...
