Days I'll remember (Colab) -Marcus & Mark-

by Marcus blake   Apr 1, 2011

Jester upon jester those old memories never get to old
The sound of laughter a room full of silent cries
Hidden tears drop from perfect faces
Though there are windows, there is no escape
How many tears does this hollow smile bring
...Aplenty it has
Forsaken by the melody...
Peace be still, for peace has yet to sing
And like the song that never ends, you do die
The sun has its dawn as does the moon its night
Why flowers die I wonder?
Feeble things do strive to stay alive
as i long for its name like shadows from the sun
hope; may it compliment me?
time will tell for eternity has yet follow
the moon is the only light I see
So whisper to me those words you cast into the void
I want to consume your darkness, for it is unlike mine
Though pitiful words they are, easing nothing at all
like that eternity's light you spoke of, I want to see it too
And still-- Worlds pass me by, And still --I cry
a face stained with tears
Cursed with memories that
were placed in my heart
