I hate that you made me feel special
Than you took it away
I know its cliche for me to be heartbroken
Because it was only one day

But during that day
I hate that you gave me a lingering kiss
A kiss so sweet
I have begun to miss

I hate that you tried to dismiss us
Just because of my age
It is such and insignificant excuse
That has penetrated me with rage

The one thing I hate more
Than any of the above
I hate that you turned away a like
That could have turned into love
