Daddy

The word Daddy is the representation of the child's childish love for their Father. For example, it means you will forever have the love for your Dad as you once did as a little boy or girl. In my case, my Father is my hero. The Lord has blessed me with what anyone would ask for...a good Father. He represents all that is good. He means the world to me. He is the world to me. He's been there through thick and thin and is always there to talk to. And unlike most, I'm not afraid to admit my love for my Dad, I'm a Daddy's girl and always will be. That's why this Father's day is even more special than before because now that I am grown, I understand the love and the connection between me and my Father. That's what makes this day special to me because this is the day that is my Daddy's time to shine. So I'm writing this poem for my Daddy to remind him how much he is loved. Happy Father's Day Daddy.
