Hurricane

by Poet on the Piano   Apr 9, 2011

In the void sheets of rain,
my restlessness never expected
a (roaring) call,
from waves beyond ocean's
identity I had deemed invalid.

[coughing disbelief to budget
wasted space multiplied by nothing].

He escaped from safe windows
I planted along lighted garden;
his only want, to endow his emotions
for the resistance of my heart.

{with body bended stiff,
tired of hiding actual
passion,
too widespread to destroy}.

While the waters held back their veins,
lost in blue mixed by distant brothers,
I unlocked my soul's thoughts
to hear the response overwhelm his beat.

With this uncaged storm of hearts,
we uncover truthful silence
that we've been watching for too long.

It is time {without struggle}
we take commitment,
participating in the rush of
devotion.

Written for contest.
