Our Scenic Relationship

by Poet on the Piano   Apr 9, 2011

For nineteen years I've never struggled
within your grasp,
begging that you hear me and
re-paint my clasp,
all for the goodness of our love...
though you haven't come
across my coat for that long...
I have known you in spirit,
imagined our love ever true!
The miles we've ridden together
in the same seat,
a life journeyed through rough roads
makes us complete.
We've been somewhat of an item
for all time,
could our escape together be defined
as a crime?
With freedom! We've fought the weather,
you've given me the gift of leather.
I cherish you oh my brother,
humming at your side for hours
look at our powers yeah yeah!
Fighting the world for this position,
we rule and pave our own transmission.
I trust in you, never will you let me falter
and like standing atop a mighty altar
I was born for you-
so let's ride all our lives!

- you don't even want to know......any guesses?
