Happiness

by Ladybugs   Apr 9, 2011

Happiness can belong to anyone,
It has only bur none owner,
Yet many takers.
Many people with little bits of it,
Sharing it among the human race.
When someone takes too much
They have to give more back.
Like a banker collecting his taxes.
I guess that I was in debt.
They took my happiness,
And handed it out as I watched with grief.
They took my home,
My warm set of arms,
And gave me a pillow, as if that would suffice.
They took my life, my love,
Locked in a boys heart, I will never see again.
They took my savings,
The soft lips, given to another girl.
Someday I', going to get my happiness back.
I just need to keep my chin held high,
And save up for that love that I lost.
Save up for my happiness once again.
