Can you see me

by Tillra   Apr 13, 2011

Upon deep investigation into my mind
I had fallen upon a discovery, one I tried to hide
I am not what you see
I am the one you want to see
I have become the thing suited to your eye,
Should I perish, you shall morn over a lie.
Within my shallow grave you will see,
Not the one I tried to be
But me
In my bluntest form you will see,
That I was not always full of glee.
I had carried a heavy burden upon my heart,
And in the end it had torn me apart.
Now you see me naked and pure,
All that I am, all that I did ignore.
To see me for what I truly am,
You must look closer if you can.

Not sure about this one came to me in a dream... not fun but I think it needs editing...
