The Man To Remember

by Just Me   Apr 15, 2011

The blackening grip of death rips our loved ones away
notice it rains on funeral days.
As the tears run down your face
Dont forget how these memories taste
You stand there watching as everyone else cries..
Its crazy how many are affected when one man dies
You see his strong children falling apart
You start to remember he had a big heart.
Walking up to the casket
You give up trying to mask it
You fall to the ground cradling yourself
You push away all who try to help.
For once in your life you dont feel so strong
When reality hits that all has gone wrong.
