His heartagram neclace

by Mello193   Apr 18, 2011

Even if he was alone
Even if he is alone
He always had it with him
His heartagram neclace

From "i fear the feel"
to "maybe you and me"
Even "evenecence"

To poet has a trademark
A signature all his own
Tied around his neck

Sitting thinking
Writting all his poems
In the sunlight
On his grandmothers back deck

More than any symbol
Or any vivid memory
His neclace defines his past

Who he was
What he loved
Shows him that time flies fast

Even if you call him Mello
Even if you call him Parish
He always has it with him
His heartagram neclace
