Death Letter

If I was to write a letter
this is what you'd see
starting off to the one who reads
ending signed by the one who bleeds

To the one who reads,

If I wanted to kill myself
what would you do or say
would you say and do nothing
and just walk away

Would you keep it quiet
inside you head
just think to yourself
she could be dead

or would you tell
and let people know
that the feelings I have
aren't the ones i show

would you be brave
and tell people what I feel
so I can start living
a life that is real

In the back of my mind
it is fake
and to me my life's
a big mistake

I'm not asking permission
its what I gotta do
and understand this
I'm trusting you

trusting you
to tell the rest
this for me
is what is best

tell the others I'm sorry
if i made them cry
at least they know now
why i had to die

think of it as
a better life for me
