Slaves Revenge

by CarlaMason2012   Apr 22, 2011

Whip cracks across the back,
a scream echos through the air,
bare feet scramble, words are said,
gunfire rings through the air,
hate in there eyes,
unblinking gaze, still movements no sounds,
a cry of victory, an overseer dead,
a slaves revenge.

I found this piece to be very sad. The imagery was great and moving. Your words have so many emotions to them. A very well written piece. Welcome to the site. Hope to see ore from you. -Nik
