Why did I not see
What was going on deep down
What you thought of me
The tears you hid behind your smile
The wall you built so high
The struggle you were going through
Though not once did you cry
The pain I guessed it must be there
I caught a glimpse some days
When you thought that no one could see
But hiding never pays
So though I knew your name
And a few facts that were true
The question still remains for me
