One of my favorite pieces I've read. This is beautifully written and speaks in volumes of nature and life.

I love the way you bring colors into the mix, all the time, in peculiar ways. "rusting reds and auburns", "suns pastel presence" etc. It's just beautiful, beautiful, beautiful.

"it was true I loved you
    and all your beauty."

    Can I just saw....wow?

I just adored the comparison here throughout the whole poem. Then at the end 'I was no match for summer' is just brilliant and so relevant and wraps everything up with one last powerful line. You always write with nothing less than originality. I absolutely love this.

A very beautiful poem that really creates a picture with vividness and creativity. The poem was written well and the flow was flawless as it went from line to line. The structure was also good and it kept pace with the poem's beat and meter adding to the flow. Your emotions you place within the poem are full of life and love and even a little sadness to bring the poem to reality. The message of the poem is really interesting and I really liked your last line as well as I think it raps up your entire poem and it is also one killer of an ending!

I couldn't find one stanza that stood out to me as I really thought all your stanzas were amazing and they flowed so well together. I would have had to paste your entire poem here for me to show you which one I liked best! :P Anyway, I am impressed with your work that you have put into this poem and it shows with the strength of your imagery and emotions.

All in all, you are really talented and I am glad I took my time to read this lovely piece. I love nature poems and you have not disappointed me at all. I hope to read some more by you in the near future. You are very talented and I'm glad you are using your talents well. :] Great job and keep writing!

I have always thought that the nature section here really shines with great poems. They are interesting and so much fuller than the repetitive love poems that seem to pop up everywhere - even mine can be that way sometimes. I trully enjoyed your work here - each word seemed hand picked to speak your heart, very well done - bravo...I look forward to exploring more of your works.
