Feeling free [Locked]

by Larry Chamberlin   Apr 27, 2011

I sway in gentle hammock rhythms
. [caged without key]
as green jungle gusts waft odour
. [draft from the flue]
fever-blood acrobats of wild creatures
. [rats scurry in the corners]
and settle to tropical comfort
. [moldy dampness]
thinking how peaceful vacation can be
. [thirty days in the hole]
