Sin wants to take me down
Everytime I turn around
The devil is using my soul
For a place to dig his hole
To fill with his evil desires
Till you can't tell me from the liers
So I can reflect his image
So I can disgrace my lineage
He wants to take me down
Till I'm no longer around
But God wants me to shine
Wants me to fit to His design
He loves me and yearns for me
And has a truth He nees me to see
He wants to reveal His plan
Though He knows I'm just a man
In His strength, faith, and love
I'll have everything to rise above
And when God comes to shine
He'll say, "this one is Mine."
