Unwanted

by Beautiful Chaos   May 1, 2011

I wanted to kill you, like you killed me,
Wanted to fill you up and gut you,
So you could see your love spill on the floor,
At the feet of your sworn eternity.

I wanted to carve you with the sword of destiny,
A statuesque sycophant, an emotional incubus,
It's time to take control, cut invisible strings,
Slip back into my own skin and never be who you want again.

You don't really want me, just what I can become,
What you can mold and nurture,
Everything I don't want to be anymore,
My darkest self...

Jenn, this is one beautiful write from you. sad and dark, true, but I just loved it too much I fell as if i should make an appointment with a shrink. still, there is something raw, honest and primitive about it that I love.
