I don’t know how you have done it, and I do not know why.
I don’t understand why you worked so hard to reach me,
When in turn you just ran to hide.
You have broke my spirit,
My will is no longer there,
You have taken everything in me,
And gave in return nothing but despair.
My heart is yet once again crushed by you,
My world turned upside down.
I knew better than to love you,
But I just couldn’t help myself.
You knew that I was afraid,
You knew that I did not want this pain,
I asked you more than once not to hurt me again,
And yet look what you went and done.
I don’t understand what you are so afraid of,
I don’t understand what I done wrong,
All I know is that my heart was once full of nothing but genuine love,
And now even that’s not the same.
Now I feel pain,
Regret, and yes even shame.
Everyone told me not to get involved,
Yet I had to try just once again.
Before you leave,
I have just one request,
It not as easy as returning my calls,
Though that you stopped long ago.
