The flower grows

by who i am is me   May 2, 2011

This time you grow again
you are awoken and eager
determined and enthused
to prove the theory wrong
and as we watch you rise
from the barren landscape of a winter past
you call to the wind
daring him to blow
You are unmoved by the uncertainties of a nature harsh
and now you stand firmer for a season renewed
You will leave thoroughly in weeks to come
but in my spirit
beautiful blooming flower
You are for all seasons...

I'm surprised to see so little comments in your poems, Keep writing the way you do. I like the peacefulness and serene tones that I get when I read them and in a few some hues of sadness, but most importantly your words ring honesty like some would say they read genuineness. This one is a great piece.
