Only an empty wall glaring back;

Just a cold pillow that's as lonely as I am;
No one to hold me when I feel down;
Only a blanket to keep me warm;
No one to make me feel loved;
Only a picture showing it was once there;
No one to make me feel wanted;
Only a ring to remember the past;
No one to make me feel needed;
Only memories to remind me of what it was like;
I miss her tender touch;
I miss her warm smile;
I miss her genuine affection;
I miss holding each other and being completely content;
I'l have that feeling again one day;
And the next time I'll make sure it's there to stay.
