I absofreakinglutely love this poem. Generally I'm not a fan of the parenthesis and brackets, but here I thought it worked REALLY well. I read it with a different attitude, almost softer.

What once was someone you never knew is now someone you do know...the familiarity is there but you do you REALLY know him? He is still but a stranger, with just a slight difference, he's someone you know but complex, confusing, quiet, withdrawn from allowing you to know how he really feels, thinks, acts etc.

Brilliant! I really enjoyed this poem. The title caught my eye, and I loved the concept of this poem... I think about these things all the time... I'm always seeing familiar people and analyze things that others may find strange lol! But I loved how the narrator of the poem is trying to guess how she knows this person but still doesn't figure it out at the end... You could even write a sequel poem to this! Really interesting and I think the structure was very suitable. Well done hon :)
