My very best friend

Her:
I wish he felt the same way,
That I do inside,
If only I could tell him,
Then I wouldn't have to hide.

I wish he would notice,
He's not just my best friend,
Ive loved him from the very start,
Ill love him till the end.

Him:
I don't know how to tell her,
That Ive loved her since forever,
I don't wanna be just friends,
I want to be together.

I don't want to ruin what we have,
But my life feels like a lie,
I cant stand to fake my smile,
When shes with other guys.

Her:
I see him walking around,
Holding onto that girl,
I hate the way he looks at her,
Like shes his entire world.

I wish it was me he looked at like that,
With the sparkles in his eyes,
I wish one day he'd come to me,
And tell me he wants to be my guy.

Him:
I watch her across the classroom,
So much I wanna say,
Ive wrote it all in a letter,
But never sent it her way.

She's so beautiful and funny,
My perfect best friend,
But I wish she was my baby,
Until the very end.

Her:
I hold the letter I wrote,
I just want him to know,
How Ive needed him forever,
But now I'm letting go.

Watching him with other girls,
Breaks my heart each day,
Its me he should of been with,
He should of held me that way.

Him:
Today I got a letter,
I couldn't believe what I read,
I read it over and over,
Taking in every word she said.

She loves me like I love her!
She has done from the very start,
Its always been me!
The guy inside her heart.

Her:
Today he came to me,
He told me how he feels,
He gave me the letter he wrote,
I cant believe its real!

Just as I was giving up,
Prepared to let him go,
He came to me with arms wide open,
And told me he loves me so.

Him:
I was always to scared to say,
In case I lost her always,
But now were together,
And shes here to stay.

Her:
Its me and him forever,
Us against the world,
He'll always be the one for me,
I'll always be his girl.
