Slightly Lonely

by Stephanie Tangedahl   May 15, 2011

TV waves with Billy Mayes
Trying to forget those days

Moving in and moving out
Living with and one without

Hate the people, hate the food
Didn't know they'd be so rude

Looking up and looking down
Searching for a world unfound

Making friends and making foes
See them come and see them go

Feeling empty, lacking home
Left to feel this all alone

Done with high and done with drugs
So hold my hand and give me love.

    Stephanie,
What a beautifully rhymed piece.. I enjoyed the breaks between each line and how it portrayed you reaching out for help..
    Well done
