BEHIND THIS SMILE

Although I might fall, or give into it all,
Ill always wear this smile,
So that people will think my lifes worthwhile.
ill hide behind this smile, yeah it might be fake,
but ill make everyone think my lifes so great.
Ill go through each day with motivation
So much hope yet a whole lot of frustration.

Behind this smile, sadness and darkness overflows,
These things family and friends will never know.
I use to feel like no one was really there for me,
But you changed that, you made me see so clearly,
That not only you are there God is too,
Though it took me some time for me to see that it was true.

Behind this smile, i know that happiness is still there,
So at night ill silently say a hope filled prayer.
God Help me please, I need you once again,
fill me with your grace, make this misery end
I know He hears me i know He cares,
I know that forever Hell be there.

Behind this smile, there might be things that i hide,
Things that i keep locked inside,
But Im slowly letting it all out to you,
Though it can be hard to explain and it might take awhile,
But ill try my hardest to tell you
all the things that I hide behind this smile.....
