Will You Remember Me?

by StarryBlackNight   May 16, 2011

This pain is suffocating,
a deep burning in my soul,
fire and ice,
are tearing me apart.

Will you remember me,
when peace is found?
Will you remember me,
when good bye is all that's left?

Travelling is only half the battle,
you need to know where you're going,
a deep sense of longing,
is all that drives us forward.

Will you remember me,
when paradise is found?
Will you remember me,
when the face of the Father is on us?

Faith has earthly bounds,
it's not strong enough to be our glue,
prayers are empty words,
how can Father believe?

Will you remember me,
when everything is said?
Will you remember me,
when the pain is finally done?

A fire in my chest,
burning in this cold lonely soul,
an ice storm deep within,
killing all emotions.

Will you remember me,
when everything is over?
Will you remember me?
Please remember me...
