The Fall

by JJ   May 19, 2011

A wall was surrounding my heart
Ive never had the courage to leap at fate and step over comforts
I saw your glacier blue eyes
The way your hair softened your hard marble-like features
My pulse quickening as I feel your presence behind me

As if playing hide-and-seek, I wish to seek the answers
Answers which are wrapped playfully around your child-like smile
I feel at ease, as if I have jumped off a plane...free falling
The wall of my heart becoming pliable...bendable
The game has begun, and I start the chase
