Savior

by Joanna Psiharis   May 20, 2011

The saffron glow behind his eyes,
invisible yet so clear.
I know I can’t say a word,
but I so badly want him near.
I don’t know what he thinks of me,
my trust is growing dim.
But I still feel all those flutters,
every time I think of him

Breaking a heart?
There is no right way.
I wish you could just understand.
Do I wanna break your heart?
Hell no.
But it’s the only way to save us from ourselves
