Best-Friend

by Kimberly Babcock   May 20, 2011

I gave you a chance,
and we clicked in no time.
I had a best friend,
or so I thought.
You had me playing your stupid game right from the start.
While your pretended to be my friend,
You went for my husband's heart.
You filled my head with lies.
"Just give him space!" you said.

In my heart I knew what you were trying to do.
But I thought,"My husband loves me, he won't give you a second thought!"

But my heart was wrong,
and so were you.
You broke trust,
So now I hate you.

You hurt me bad,
Yes it's true.

You made my lover,
lust for you.
In my head everything is red.
I hate you for hurting me.
But most of all I hate you for befriending me.

In my mind,
I wish you well.
But in my heart I say, " GO TO HELL!"
