I Only Want to be Dead

by Daisygirl   May 21, 2011

Sitting alone by her locker,
Knees tucked against her chest,
Face wrapped in her sweatshirt,
She wasnt good enough to pass his test.

Teachers pass her by
But she just sits there all alone
Wanting someone to talk to
She refuses to go back home.

I walked by where she was
And i sat right by her side
Putting my hand on her shoulder
I comforted her as she cried.

"Talk to me." My words came out
She lifted up her head
The words she spoke were frightening
"I only want to be dead."

The next day at school
I walked past her empty spot
Forgetting what she had done last night
I had totally forgot.
