Am I glad to see this one again. It is just so deeply mired in sentiments of desired love that it is a class by itself.

"Eyes shifting and lips bitten bloody as I struggle,
    suppressing doubt,
    memories of past failures and
    losing everything. Everything, every time."

"But giving up now would be giving up what I believe in
    most ardently, and
to fight the good fight and have nobility
buried deep within a fractured, still beating muscle."

Wow! A lovely picture you have painted in this love story, a fitting sequel to your own previous works "Paranoid of being Paranoid" and the "Star crossed Lovers" . So I am waiting to see what is next ? Has to have a Fairy tale ending to the story soon, and hopefully not the sad ending in "Cancer".

Outstanding work of poetic art from the heart!
This one is a definite Winner! At least, I hope so.

Sad and relatable. I appreciate that you have suspended this feeling of "doomed love" throughout the poem. You know it could fail, but you're going to do it anyway.

"is to be and hold the love I see teetering
at the edge of a blade"

This was my favorite part. There's a good, epic rhythm to it, if you say it out loud.

I also thought the ending was just right.

Exceptional writing, liked the last part the most.

Poem started off so well and to the end it blossomed.

Your choice of words was excellent and displays the emotions so well, which you are portraying.

    Well pinned piece.

Amazing write. Sad. But as Sibyllene said, relatable. I loved the imagery used in here. and the feel of suspended, doomed, love.

You had amazing word choice, and the perfect layer of ominous discription. Not too in depth, but enough to paint a picture in the readers mind.

Its no secret I'm a big love write fan, happy or sad or in between it doesn't matter I find that it is a subject that will be written about and studied until the end of men, that being said this is a wonderful write, great use of language and imagery and I really like how you control the reader in this piece.

As said in the other comments a very relatable piece to many people - which IMO makes the best poetry.
