She wishes

by Leah.A.   Jun 21, 2004

She stands infront of a mirror
And stares at herself in disgrace
Before covering the face
She wishes she could erase.

She hates who she is
That worthless look in her eye
That smile she holds
Because only she knows its all a pathetic lie.

She pulls at her skin
And tugs at her hair
Wishing that every piece of her
Was no longer there.

All she wants is to fit in
To feel a part of the crowd
In order to make herself happy
And to make herself proud.

But who is she kidding
Some things in life are not meant to be
That as she knows it
Is a guarentee.

Once again she stands there alone
Staring at her ugly face
Her ugly self
Wishing that she was something God could easily replace.
