Goodbye

by Amanda Sharp   May 27, 2011

I fall to the ground weeping as the rain pours upon my back,
I let the tears flow from my eyes knowing the rain shall hide them.
I'm weak,
I showed you,
I showed you I love you,
And you leave laughing as if laughing at a crude joke.
I yell to you as you leave me at my weakest moment,
"Why?" I yelled, you asked "why what?" "Why don't you love me?" I whispered,
You replied "You are weak"
Crushed I fell to my knees holding my chest as if to try to keep my heart from shattering
You walk away leaving me with a devastated heart.
"Goodbye my love" I whispered to myself, "Goodbye."
