A season of Love

by A lonely soul   May 28, 2011

Aha! I smell the rain, late but not lost, finally here
Drops and sprinkles to rekindle life in a barren desert
Tender green leaves give new breath to that dry trunk
delicate sprouts budding with life on every branch
Pink and white blossoms that smile and waive to all those who lost hope
No wonder an old log feels reborn again
ready to give his .... to a beautiful young flower
His heart is not yet ready to stop, not yet until he can see that lovely smile back on that exotic flower

Birds chirping, bees humming, spiders weaving, butterflies everywhere
A smile beaming on that parched tree (soul) that survived the harsh year
Hoping against hope that rain shall arrive, some day in its lifetime
It hopes, it sincerely wishes, it prays for this season of .... to last forever for its cherished flower
A life to give life (I hope) .... to renew and cherish each day

Spring is here to stay forever, should y o u so wish "Sonia", my lovely white flower
For y o u, I will humbly ask Winter to stay clear of your door
I am sure he will listen, as even he cannot forbade .... between pure souls
Such is the power of true love, truth over a lie
nature's law of natural attraction not to be undone
Can you imagine a fairy tale without an ending
my lovely white exotic wildflower ?

I would like to acknowledge the cues I get from the beautiful art of others on this website. The inspiration for this particular piece was drawn from the works of someone exceptionally gifted.
