Dying to Be Loved

by Faye   May 29, 2011

Maybe I am just young and dumb

But for love, I am willing to succumb

The reason I'm feeling so desperate can't be explained

I wish I could say all of these feelings were feigned

That would indeed take away 90% of the pain

Oh damn I really hate to complain

So tired of going through this riggamarole

My heart simply won't allow it no mo'

I have no more glue left to put it back together

Sounds silly, but hey its whatever

If my tears were blood, I would surely be dead

Unrequited love is like taking a gun shot to the head

To the average person this might seem overly dramatic

But I am really hoping to find the light at the top of the attic

I keep asking why bother? I am just going to get the same results

But I will keep looking for love as long as I have a pulse

I know this sounds like a hopeless romantic's rant

But I refuse to live without love; I simply can't
