Grow up fast (Dads Advice)

by crystaljean88   May 30, 2011

Growing up fast,
I thought it would be fun.
My dad told me no,
Be young, but not dumb.

I sit back now,
As I look at these photos.
Now I'm here crying,
My life.. there it goes.

My dad was right,
I should have listened.
Why did I do this?
This is it.. The end.

No more doing anything,
whenever I wanted.
I have a daughter now.
Always tucking her in bed.

I give her my dads advice,
Telling her to stay young.
Don't grow up fast.
Be smart and not dumb.

Really... I agree with Michael. When I read this, I could really visualize your father advising you and then your regret. Its indeed sad to know that we dont think before what we want to be. But, its not the end my friend. Life is long and try to be different and take every day as a new life. Be creative. Life will be fun:)
