It was a wonderful morning today
As I got up and left for work,
The sunshine around was just enough
On the street and inside the park.
The office keeps me busy with the files
Between the walls 'n inside the room;
Faster goes the seconds to hours
Many a times I need to zoom.
Who will know when it was noon
What was the color of the sky?
I want to finish all my files
The day is over 'n time passed by.
Whole day I have read many pages
Whole day I have written miles,
Not a line for poetry or prose
Every word is for finishing files.
Evening brings the hours of relief
Eager to return to children 'n wife;
That's the way I'm getting older
Passing the time 'n living my life.
The way I'm busy in the game
Heading alone for a selfish goal,
Shouldn't I do some good for others
Work for next life 'n please my soul.
