The Invalid (warrior blood)

by Mello193   Jun 1, 2011

He is more
Somehow less
The path below the wake
He is now
Something known
The fear he hides so well

Something lost
Along the road
The invalid voice now lost
Amongst the noise
Given the cost
New blood seeps into earth
The fallen faceless man
Gone now with forever

The tides of war
Wanted more
To hear the battle cry
The blood has dried
Upon his hands
Left to wonder why
The point is lost
The goal unclear
Becoming the invalid

He is here
Along his road
Paved with false intention
He is gone
Amidst the wrong
The flag still hanging strong

He is scares
And double dared
Now unprepared
To walk this path of bones
A thread of guilt
Around his throat
His life left unfullfilled
The man becomes invalid

The stains of shame
He hung himself to dry
Nothings left
For him to pacefey
The lights are out
Left to beg and shout
He wonders why
How good men die
Lost now the invalid
