Lessons

To those who have listened to any story of regret

Have you understood why it was unwanted or unwished

Did u hear each word thrown into a description

Understanding the feeling seeping into the persons lungs

Every time they are reminded of this event

When u accept their story as the truth

Do you let their feelings intermingle with yours

Or do you shut it out because it wasn't you

Maybe I'm too absorbent

But their stories fill me with each word like oxygen

I regret that they have regret

But you can't change the past

So when you are told these tales

It's because they want you to feel what they did

Open your senses

To see what they saw

You can learn from others mistakes if you pay attention

And it will not linger or return as your regret

So next time just think , and maybe not listen

Just grasp it and breathe in these life lessons

A behind the scenes look into your own mind. Perfectly plotted. Simply stunning with words. Keep it up! 5/5
