Sinner, Savior, Survivor

by Meme   Jun 2, 2011

A reflection of emptiness he was
His life always put on pause
Surviving the temptations to live
In a world that takes, but never gives
Exhausting the strength he once had
Taking his good side, leaving the bad

Now in every breath he takes
One another sin he makes
Darkness shades he follows
A glass of venom he swallows
Poison runs in his veins
Killing the soul he maintains

Wicked voices inside his mind
Hiding the truth, making him blind
The demon awakes inside his soul
An urge to venge he cant control
Becoming every persons biggest fear
For those who dare to come near

Some try to help him understand
He can still go back to being that man
He now awaits to be saved
From the viciousness engraved
On the memories of his past
The memories that still last

    - This opening is marvelous, my favorite two verses that can sum it all..

The metaphors were incredible.. They gave way to a really dark flow. It was capturing. There is a leakage of wicked yet saintly emotions of that man. You conveyed his character flawlessly.

Every stanza ignites the senses, believe me.
The words you've used were in the right place.
    The closing was also good.

    A job, awesomely done!
    "5/5"
If I have the ability to nominate it, I would have instantly.
It was my pleasure to read such a piece. =D

    - Peace
