Everything that goes on..seems too much for ya
But let's start this with something bad..
and work to the good to realize what he had
Things don't always go as we would like them to..
We get up and fall right on our faces..there's two
We argue all the time, both getting tired of it..
Wondering if this is true love, both needing to get higher above it
It's really good we can last this long..not like most..
I guess that shows we mean something to each other, needing another dose
We're both very strong people, why we lasted this long..
Both fighting to keep our love alive, both knowing it cant be wrong
We see ourselves falling apart, but we try to keep strong..
I guess sometimes we cant just get ourselves to where we belong
Standing around hoping the other could do something about it..
As we stand, watching what we had fall apart more and more.. we just don't admit it
Like a beautiful rose losing all of its pedals, being stomped on by our hearts..
Not wanting to let go of how we feel and do what's best for both of our hearts
Can't find ourselves in a good enough position to tell each other anything..
Hoping we could just fly up out of it..I'm sure we'd take any wings
But our wings are broken, they fell apart the day we said "i love you"..
We don't know what to do, we don't wanna let go
Special moments we've had, staying up late, saying things so we'd both smile..
Watching that beautiful rose come back to life..hoping it stays that way for a while
Our love growing deep inside us..but not showing it fully..

Trying to hold on strong..so we can be together just a minute longer..
