Blue Mark!

by Mark Coates   Jun 4, 2011

Red, Red, I hear the constant chant,
The views of the untold masses,
Those who didn't bother voting,
Shouting through rose-tinted glasses.

The views each human holds so dear,
Who has the right to say you're wrong,
For the person who chooses to
Abstain, Stop singing this old song.

You chose not to use your vote,
Instead ignoring your heart,
If, by chance, your party lost
Your pointless rants need not start.

We all have this right to freedom,
We all hold a right to free speech,
Whilst I don't deny you these things
You talk to me to try and preach.

My views, so yes they may be blue,
I'm not fond of yellow and red,
I consider what you value,
I take your words, Thoughts in my head.

No, I do not consider my-
Self to be a fascist, I just
Vote for- the political right,
In the Conservatives, I trust!

This clearly shows my political allegiance!
Any pointers, guidance or constructive criticism is welcome but please to not bemoan, or argue with me about, my political allegiance as I have the right to hold that view!
As the saying goes: I may not agree with you but I shall defend until death your right to believe it!
